The front office
staff is the patient's first encounter with the physician or physician's
assistant at Fox Chapel Dermatology. They strive to always greet
you with a smile at check in and to obtain all the necessary preliminary
insurance and medical paperwork to make sure that your visit and
checkout process are as easy as possible. Telephones are still answered
by a live voice to assist you and answer your questions. Only in
times of high call volume or staff shortages will the telephones
be routed electronically. The other responsibilities of this high
energy group are to collate, coordinate, and organize the medical
charts, schedule appointments, ensure same day turn around time
for patient in-coming phone calls, and to assist the patient in
the purchase of physician directed cosmetic products and services.
They are a very important and hard working part of Fox Chapel Dermatology.
