Meet The Doctor

Dr. Caserio of Fox Chapel Dermatology, PC, has been in private practice for over 18 years. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pittsburgh undergraduate school and Cum Laude and Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

Dr. Caserio was Chief Resident in both dermatology and internal medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and is board certified in both specialties. Her practice is limited to dermatology. Dr Caserio was a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh 1990-2000. She received the 1996-1997 Outstanding Clinical Teacher award given yearly to the faculty member chosen to be most outstanding by the university residents.

Dr. Caserio has a special interest in cosmetic dermatology, performing Botox and Restylane injections, collagen treatments, spider vein treatments, chemical peels, and laser surgery. She has been administering Botox for over 9 years. Her expertise has led to recognition as a National Certified Physician Trainer in Botox Cosmetic administration. Hair diseases are her other specialty niche. She has co-authored a textbook and written chapters on hair disease. She participated in the original research with UpJohn on Rogaine for male pattern baldness is a known national hair expert. She has Bookdistinguished herself by inclusion in all editions of the Best Doctors in America since 1992, and was chosen for Top 2,000 Doctors in America, Pittsburgh Magazine's Top Doctors in Pittsburgh, and Who's Who in the East. She is on the medical staff at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital. Her professional societies include The American Academy of Dermatology, The Pennsylvania Academy of Dermatology, The American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, The Pittsburgh Academy of Dermatology, The American Contact Dermatitis Society, The American Society for Photodynamic Therapy, The International Society for Cosmetic Laser Surgery, The Allegheny County Medical Society, and The Pennsylvania Medical Society.

Dr. Caserio resides in the Oakland section of Pittsburgh with her two Boston terriers, Rosie and Daisy.
